Houston Accident Map

Houston Accident Map

Did you know that Houston’s most dangerous intersection is Beltway 8 at Bissonnet Street?

We do and that’s because we’ve been helping victims of Houston traffic accidents every day for the past 20 years.

We know just how dangerous the roads of Texas can be. Believing that PREVENTION IS THE BEST MEDICINE, we launched Houston’s first Traffic Accident Hotspot Map in 2012, as you can see here in a KPRC Channel 2 news feature. Attorney Stewart J. Guss believes that ‘knowledge is power’ and that’s the basic philosophy behind the crash map, if Houstonians can see where the most dangerous roads are – they can avoid them and STAY SAFE!

Attorney Guss and his entire team LOVE the city that we call home – HOUSTON. That’s why we are always striving to do our absolute best, not only for our clients but for the whole city. We have launched various local social initiatives but for us, the accident hotspot map is incredibly vital, as we really believe that this map can actually SAVE LIVES! That’s why in 2016 we set about updating and improving our 2012 map to be the best tool available to help Houston drivers plan the safest possible route for each and every journey that they make. We have added several features to the new map enabling users to filter down information for exact locations, times, vehicles and contributing factors to every reported traffic in Houston from the past 5 years. Using the latest technology in combination with constantly updated traffic data we have produced a map that even allows you to see a recent image of any intersection in Houston that you choose to zoom in on.  We hope that the updated map will help our fellow Houston drivers stay safe, and collaborate to share information and plan for ways to make our local streets and highways even safer.

Forwarned is Forarmed

When preparing for a new journey always check the safest route before leaving home and stay as safe as possible. We hope the Houston Crash Map helps you avoid accident hotspots and that you never need our services. But if you are one of the thousands of Houstonians injured annually in a traffic accident, you can rely on Attorney Stewart J. Guss and his team of over 60 attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals to get you the best care and the the highest recovery possible on your claim.

User Guide

The Houston Crash Map is very easy to use, simply zoom in on the road that you plan to use, then refine the factors that you wish to search for using the icons at the left hand side of the map.

Share & Embed

You now have access to information that can save lives, so why not share it with your friends and family via social media or embedding the map on your site? Simply hit the share button at the bottom of the map and then share the link generated especially for your chosen crash data information request. Or to embed the map use the same ‘share button’.

If you have any questions regarding the map, or problems with its features, please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance. Contact us at [email protected]

How it Works

We take all the data on Houston road traffic accidents from the Texas Department of Transportation and configure them to corresponding map coordinates. We then apply filters to that data allowing you to refine the details of any particular crash by severity, location and the contributing factors involved.

We regularly update the crash data, thus allowing you to access the most up to date information available and to stay as safe as possible.
