Liane Lacour

Liane Lacour grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, where her parents instilled in her a highly enthusiastic work ethic and altruistic spirit. She studied organizational development at Loyola University in New Orleans and went on to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Marylhurst University in Oregon.

In 2020 Liane became the human resources manager for Stewart J. Guss, Injury Accident Lawyers, bringing critical calm to a stormy year. Today, Liane is a valuable decision maker who builds and inspires a team of dedicated legal professionals. She knows what it takes to not only grow our firm, but to keep our clients’ best interests in mind every step of the way.

What did you think you were going to be when growing up? “A horse jockey, but later I could not meet the height and weight standards.”

What awards or recognitions have you received? “Nationally recognized ex-racquetball champion and equestrian hunter-jumper/barrel racer.”

What does “client-first” mean to you? “Client first is not a one-off action. It is an approach that you implement throughout the company, and into every employee, that fosters a positive client experience at every stage of their journey. Clients are the centerpiece, and all actionable efforts are put in place to support our clients.”

Do you have any hidden talents or surprising hobbies? “I like to sail, but only during Hurricane seasons. It’s a little risky, but we always have good wind!”

What is your go-to comfort food? “Fried chicken of any variety.”

Do you have any pets? “Gracie Mae, a tall supermodel rescue Chihuahua.  She can walk a tightrope with no issues!”
