C. Scott Whitehouse

Scott Whitehouse grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He studied Business Management prior to joining the United States Navy, where he was assigned to report directly to the Chief of Naval Operations in Washington, D.C. and had the honor of representing the U.S. Navy at two Presidential inaugurations.

Following his Navy service, Scott served at several embassies and consulates around the world and received the Exceptional Performance Award while in the CIA. (You read that right!)

After returning to civilian life, Scott went on to establish a successful career in real estate, design, renovation, and consulting.

Scott joined the Stewart J Guss law firm in 2011, back when there were only three employees! Now, as the business manager, Scott is responsible for all business, financial, and administrative aspects of our practice. His eclectic background makes him uniquely qualified to oversee the operations of the firm and to partner with Stewart in the exploration and development of all business opportunities.

Scott lives just a few blocks from our headquarters in northwest Houston with his husband Richard and their Miniature Schnauzer.
